Beginning tomorrow, from November 6-13, we’ll donate 6% of your purchases back to your child’s school (that’s twice our normal donation amount!). The timing couldn’t be better: we’re fully stocked for the holidays, with tons of fabulous new toys, books, accessories, and special outfits arriving every day! If you have out-of-towners on your holiday list, we’ll even hold your gifts and ship them later in December.
 
All you have to do is mention your school’s name when you’re checking out. All Chicago schools qualify, whether they’re officially enrolled yet or not (and if not, this is a perfect chance to get them signed up!).

Once your school is signed up for Shop for Schools, summer is a great opportunity to lay the groudwork for spreading the word acros your school community once school starts in the fall. We’re here to help and have lots of ideas on ways to get the word out. For example, we can supply you with postcards that you can use in back-to-school mailings or folder stuffings. Remember: the more parents shop with us, the more we give back to your school!

Thanks to all who attended our kick-off event in May! The number of schools signed up continues to grow every day. The gist is simple: once your school is signed up, all you have to do is mention the school’s name each time you shop at our stores and 3% of your yearly combined purchases will go back to your school in the form of a cash donation. Get your whole class involved: the more everyone shops with us, the more your school benefits!
